Privacy Policy
Goodest Boops · Last updated July 13, 2026
Goodest Boops (the “Game”) is made by Boopware LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what information the Game and this website (boopware.com) collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built the Game to need as little personal information as possible - you can play without giving us your name, email, or any real-world identity. The Game does show ads (see Advertising), which involve a third party, Google.
Information we collect
- An anonymous account. When you first play, the Game automatically creates an account identified only by a randomly generated ID and a private access token. This account is not tied to your name, email address, phone number, or any other real-world identity.
- Game progress and purchases. To keep your progress consistent and your purchases honored, we store on our servers your high score, in-game currency (treats), the cosmetic items you own and have equipped, gameplay run records, rewarded-ad credits, and a record of purchases (which item, the platform, and the store transaction identifier).
- Advertising data. The Game shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure those ads, Google’s advertising technology collects data from your device. See Advertising below for what is collected and your choices.
- Technical and security data. When your device contacts our servers, your device’s IP address is processed by our hosting and content delivery providers to return responses and to protect the service from abuse (for example, rate-limiting). We do not use this to build advertising or tracking profiles, and we do not store it as part of your account.
- On-device data. Some data - such as your high score, settings, and cosmetic choices - is also cached locally on your device.
- Apple Game Center (iOS, optional). If you are signed in to Game Center, Apple provides us with a Game Center identifier and alias. We use these to display leaderboard scores and - so your progress and purchases are not lost - to link your Game Center identity to your account. We store that identifier with your account so we can restore the same account (progress, treats, and items) when you reinstall the Game or sign in on another device. It is not used for advertising or to track you across other apps, and is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Apart from Google’s advertising technology described below, the Game does not include third-party analytics trackers.
How we use information
- To run the Game and keep your progress, currency, and items consistent.
- To process and validate purchases, and grant what you bought.
- To show ads, and to credit you treats for watching a rewarded ad you chose to watch.
- To keep the service reliable and protect it from abuse and fraud.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
Advertising
The Game shows ads through Google AdMob, including optional “watch an ad for treats” rewarded ads. To serve, cap, and measure ads - and to detect invalid or fraudulent activity - Google’s advertising technology may collect and process:
- a device or advertising identifier (an app- or developer-scoped identifier used to limit repeated ads and detect fraud, not to track you across other apps);
- ad interaction data, such as which ads were shown and viewed;
- approximate location estimated from your IP address (not precise GPS); and
- diagnostics, such as crash and performance information.
Ads in the Game are non-personalized (contextual only) - they are not targeted using a cross-app profile of you, and we do not use Apple’s advertising identifier to track you across other apps. How Google handles ad data is described in “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services”. We do not use ad data to build our own profile of you, and the Game is a general-audience app - it is not part of any children’s or “made for families” program.
Your advertising choices:
- On first use of ads, we present a consent/preferences screen (Google’s User Messaging Platform). In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland you can set your ad-data preferences; in applicable US states you can choose “Do not sell or share my data.” You can reopen these preferences any time from the Game’s settings.
- On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in your device settings.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive a purchase receipt or transaction identifier from the store so we can verify the purchase and grant your items - we do not receive your full payment card details. Your use of the store is also subject to that store’s own privacy policy and terms.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only with:
- Service providers that run the Game on our behalf - such as cloud hosting, database, and content-delivery providers - who may process data only to provide those services to us and are required to protect it consistent with this policy.
- Google, as our advertising provider, which processes the advertising data described above to serve and measure ads (see Advertising).
- App stores (Apple, Google) for distribution and purchases.
- Legal compliance - if required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
Some US state privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly enough to include sharing data with advertising partners. To the extent that applies, you can opt out using the “Do not sell or share my data” control described under Advertising, and we honor an applicable Global Privacy Control signal where required.
Your consent and legal basis
By downloading and using the Game, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we rely on these legal bases: performing our agreement with you to provide the Game and keep your account, progress, and purchases; our legitimate interest in keeping the service reliable and preventing abuse; and your consent for the use of device data to serve ads (collected through the preferences screen described above). You can withdraw your consent at any time - reopen the ad preferences in settings or request deletion of your account data (see “Your choices” below). Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out.
Children’s privacy
The Game is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live). It creates only an anonymous account and does not ask for or knowingly collect personal information such as a name, email, or precise location from anyone, including children. Ads are served through a standard general-audience integration, not a children’s/“made for families” advertising program. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention
We keep account and progress data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Game. You can ask us to delete your account data at any time, and you can delete your account from within the Game (see “Your choices” below). Deleting the app removes the data cached on your device.
One exception: when you delete your account we retain a record of your purchases (the item, platform, store transaction identifier, and date) for as long as we are legally required to - for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations. These retained records are detached from your account and are not used for any other purpose.
Your choices and rights
You can delete your account at any time from within the Game, which erases your account and progress data from our servers. You can also ask us to access, correct, delete, or export the data associated with your account, or to object to or restrict certain processing, by emailing us. Because accounts are anonymous, we may need your in-game account identifier to locate your data. We will not deny you service or otherwise discriminate against you for exercising these rights. You control personalized advertising through the choices under Advertising. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or California’s CCPA/CPRA - contact us to exercise any of them. You can also stop all further collection at any time by uninstalling the Game.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International users
We operate in the United States, and your information may be processed there. By using the Game you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the new version on this page.
